The route covers 200 miles, taking you through the North York Moors, on to the coast and then back across the Vale of York into the Yorkshire Dales. Day 3 has a lot of driving, so allow 4 nights away for this trip if you can!

As with all road trips, you don't want to be driving for the whole of your break. This trip gives you plenty of time for exploring the many attractions en route, and to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery around you. At most times of year it is advisable to book sites in advance, to avoid last-minute disappointment, but this can be done while you are on the journey. Enjoy!
